Summer Bucket List 2020

Summer has started and this year I'm more determined than ever to make it count, since it may be followed by some major changes in my life.
Here is what I plan on doing to make it the best summer of my life despite all the shitty things that have happened and might continu to happen this year:

1) Learn more about outer space. Seeing the Space x and Nasa launch reminded me of how fascinating outter space is.

2) Start a side hustle. This has been on my to-do list for years and I've never taken the plunge because I felt unprepared. But, as the king of side hustles, Chris Guillebeau, likes to say "Star before you're ready." I have several ideas that I will experiment with and we'll see.

3) Complete the BBL Summer 2020. If you don't know what the BBL is, it an exercise program created by French trainer Lucile Woodward (Body by Lucile). It's 8 weeks of workouts, recipes and self-care. I'm almost half way through and I'm loving it so far.

4) Blog as often as possible.

5) Play with makeup. Now that I'm on holidays, I'll actually be able to use makeup for fun instead of  functionality.

6) Film videos. Even if it's just little clips to remind me of good times. I want to get better at filming and editing.

7) Take pictures. Time to learn how to use the manual mode and how to use photoshop.

8) Soak up the sun. Vitamin D. Need I say more?

9) Make cocktails. Always a fun summer activity.

10) Find a job I love. This past year has made me realize how much I want to wake up every morning feeling excited by I'm doing.

11) Move to another city or village.

12) Spend time outside. Have a coffee on a terrasse, work int he park... Just go out.

13) Enjoy out flat before we move. My BF and I have been living in a beautiful flat with a beautiful little garden for the past year and I intend to make the most of it before we move.

14) Do yoga in the garden.

15) Read a lot.

16) Go hiking.

17) Take online classes. Let this be the summer fo self-improvement.

What is on your bucket list? Let me know!

Spring lipstick wishlist

Warmer months are synonyms of colorful lips for me. Here are the lip products I'm currently lusting after.

1) Nars Audacious lipstick in Natalie. This lipstick looks like the perfect balance between pink and coral. Plus the formula is quite long-lasting if I remember correctly.

2) Lime Crime Velvetines liquid lipstick in Bleached. I've heard great things about this formula and Bleached looks like a great, easy to wear shade.

3) Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused Gloss in Spring Bliss. This shade was created by actress Yara Shahidi. The soft pink shade combined with the dreamy name makes this the perfect spring gloss to bring shine and TLC to your lips.

4) Bobbi Brown Crushed lipstick in Peach Passion. This limited edition shade looks gorgeous (not to mention the stunning packaging). I've recently tried other shades from he line and the formula is balmy and buildable.

5) Fenty Gloss Bomb in Sweet mouth. I love these glosses and Sweet Mouth is such a pretty shade I probably won't be able to resist for long.

What lip products are currently on your wishlist. Let me know! :)

5 things I'm enjoying at the moment (April 2020)

1) Season 4 of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. I absolutely love this show. A musical series about mental health,  and life struggles, that's a win in my book. I'm not done with it yet, but the La La Land tribute on antidepressant was glorious!

2) Children literature. I've just finished I Capture the Castle by Doddie Smith and enjoyed every page. Cassandra is such an endearing narrator. I've now moved on to Little Women and I can't believe I havent read it sooner.

3) Watercolor. I'm committed to doing more creative and artistic activities in 2020 and watercolor is something I've wanted to get better at for ages. I love Shayda Campbell's videos. They're great for beginners.

4) My rainbow mug. I've recently treated myself to the cutest rainbow mug from Big Tomato Company and it has definitely made my morning coffee a little merrier.

5) Skincare. At the beginning of this quarantine, I neglected my skin a little bit, but now I am back on the skincare train. I've placed a big order on Marionnaud and I can't wait to get masking (especially with this Glamglow glitter mask).

Spring Palettes Wish List

Spring's arrival always makes me crave for colorful clothes and makeup. Here is a selection of palettes that I'm dreaming of adding to my collection.

The Pastels

I am a pastel addict and I never get tired of looking at these soft tones that look good enough to eat. I've been eyeing the Zoeva Sweet Glamour palette for a while. What keeps me from buying it is that it seems to slightly lack pigmentation. Moreover, with the launch of Huda's Pastels Obsession palettes, I'm definitely more inclined to purchase these shadows as I know the quality is good.

The Corals and Warm Tones

I've never tried Nabla's eyeshadow formula but I have heard great things about it. The palettes that tempt me the most right now are the Cutie palette in Coral and the Soul Blooming palette (Look at that packaging!). The Nars Afterglow palette also looks gorgeous.

Pretty Pinks and Purples

I've been collecting Anastasia palettes for a while and I would love to add the Amrezy palette to my stash. The BH Cosmetics Digital Future palette also looks beautiful and has similar tones. Maybe a good lower price alternative to the ABH palette?

The Earthy Tones

Another BH Cosmetics palette that looks so pretty is the Daisy Marquez palette. I love its green and purple and reddish shades. The Lime Crime Venus XL II has more muted but very luminous looking shadows that make me want to take a walk in a blooming garden.

What is on your makeup wish list right now? I'd love to know!
